Vision and Values

The Corporate Culture of Phoenix Press Inc. (PPI) is the heart of our organization.

Corporate Culture is a term used to define the unique personality or character of a company or organization. The Corporate Culture starts when the organization begins and develops as it grows. Corporate Culture is so important that it underlies the way business is done in every way.

At the inception of Phoenix Press, the goal of the organization was to set ourselves apart from a poor management culture that we experienced while working in the industry. We believed that, in order to survive and thrive, we needed to function in an environment based on honesty and integrity, with a clean, well-equipped workplace. Furthermore, we believe all employees regardless of their job description, deserve to be treated as equals working towards honoring our commitments to each other, our clients and our suppliers.

Phoenix Press was founded in January 1987, with well-defined values and beliefs. With a history of growth, we continue to evolve as an organization always embracing our core values, while transitioning our processes to meet the changing needs of our clients. With every change in how we do things we reference these values and beliefs to maintain who we are.

It is important that the work performed at Phoenix Press is from committed people, working towards a common goal, developing relationships of trust and respect with each other.

We are committed to:

  • Being the very best graphic services company in our market. Our goals are not based on achieving volume in gross sales dollars or having the largest facility with the biggest press. Our goals are founded in the belief that by developing an organization that anticipates and responds to our clients' needs more effectively than others in our market, our organization's size will seek its own level.
  • Maintaining and evolving a structure and system of policies and procedures that outlines our organization's expectations of each of us. Phoenix Press is committed to having a non-political environment, where job performance is measured by objective methods.
  • Promoting independent thinkers who proactively look for potential problems and suggest positive change. Each person brings a unique set of skills, perspectives and background to Phoenix Press. It is essential that you provide input on any aspect of your work function and environment and that Phoenix Press considers this input in a formal structured fashion to maintain and grow our organization to be the best it can be.
  • Training and developing dedicated, service-oriented, client-focused professionals.
  • Working in a clean, well-organized, safe environment.
  • The pursuit of new technology to enhance our capabilities and improve our working efficiencies and conditions.
  • Building and developing our client relationships. It is our understanding of the client's expectations, along with the desire and dedication of our entire organization's personnel to anticipate and exceed those expectations that will separate us from the competition.

The management of our company has a vision of where and what it believes Phoenix Press needs to be in order to ensure a successful future. It is the talent, effort and perspective that each employee adds to our company that gives this vision its value. With a clear understanding that each employee has their own personal vision and goals, it is vital that we work together to ensure that both visions are in concert with each other. The culture of Phoenix Press will be the healthiest, as these two visions become one.

An accurate understanding of our corporate culture can be the difference between success or failure in our environment. We are aware that people come to Phoenix Press from other organizations and may not be familiar with a culture such as ours, and we are comfortable addressing those individuals' needs during their transition. We have an expectation that you come with a desire to learn and contribute input for our collective benefit.
